On the last episode of Y&R, Victor set conditions for Audra’s leadership of Glissade and offered Kyle a surprising new job opportunity.
Sharon’s House
Nick and Sharon both take the day off to spend time with Faith. They both hope she decides not to go away with her girlfriend to Europe for the summer.
They wonder where all the years have gone and head to the kitchen to keep the ice cream from melting.
Sharon’s House
The parents are still preparing when Faith knocks at the door.
Both parents go in for an immediate hug.
Faith tells them that taking a ride-share alone from the airport is part of her recovery after what Cameron did. It’s still an emotional journey for her.
Sharon’s House
She tells them she doesn’t want to discuss it, but then asks, “Why are men such jerks?”. She informs them that Moses broke up with her, and he told her it’s all part of the college experience and best for both of them. The parents attempt to console her.
It’s never easy with a broken heart, but the pain will go away, they promise. She declares there won’t be a next time because she will never fall in love again. Nick calls for the ice cream as the much-needed reinforcement. Faith wonders how her parents can even stand one another after all they’ve put each other through.
Sharon says Nick is a wonderful father and was quite romantic back in the day. Faith finds this difficult to believe. Sharon remembers some of their adventures together.
Mr. and Mrs. Robinson
There was no need for a swimsuit back in the day on the island trip!
Sharon’s House
Mariah and Tessa arrive to visit. Faith informs them they’re about to hear about Mom and Dad’s love story. The girls all gather around.
Sharon recalls the old pickup truck and the two riding around listening to the radio.
The couple exchange a loving glance with each other.
Sharon’s House
Faith claims it couldn’t be as simple as love at first sight. The proud parents agree, and Nick recalls Sharon being with Matt Clark, and Sharon remembers him being with her friend Amy. Both relationships were ditched so they could be together.
Sharon says that Matt did not take the news so well. The kids want to know how bad things got.
There was some fighting between the two men.
Sharon tries to stop Nick from chasing Matt down.
Nick goes after Matt.
Nick says prison was no fun at all, but luckily, Amy came forward and confessed to the shooting.
Sharon says this wasn’t their only obstacle, though.
They then explained how their Grandmother, Nikki, wasn’t for their relationship at first.
They all want to know if Noah’s birth helped with the situation.
They agreed that he was life-changing, but they claim he wasn’t the only change. They recall Cassie coming into their lives. Sharon wishes Mariah could’ve been found together so the sisters could have been together.
Mariah says she is glad Cassie had the time with them, and so happy Nick came to love her as his own.

Nick claims they are lucky to have had Cassie in their lives.
Sharon’s House
The story isn’t over yet. Nick recalls there also being challenges concerning Victor.
He wanted Nick to work for him and opposed his decision to open Crimson Lights. Victor saw it as interfering with his obligations to him and the family business empire.
“We both cheated,” they inform their children after a moment of silence.
They were all amazed at how simply they dropped that bombshell on them!
Nick explains that was a rough time, but losing Cassie is what almost gutted them.
Nick explains he could not handle his grief and acted out, hurting Sharon most of all.
He recalls turning to Phyllis for comfort during this time.
Sharon recalls confronting him about the affair and wearing this same outfit. She wanted to know where and how many times they slept together!
They were able to move on and explain their encounters at the cabin happened. They both agreed if Cassie hadn’t died, they would still be together.
Faith and Mariah are shocked that Cassie predicted the other children before she passed.
Sharon and Nick say they kept hoping to get it right. Mariah recalls the wedding she will never forget.
Tessa and Mariah have to head out after getting texts saying their daughter is awake. They thank them for the fascinating story and leave.
The parents wonder if Faith is okay with all of this. She says she is glad to know it all. They explain that love always works itself out, and Moses will return if he is her true one. Faith wonders if Sharon is his.
Sharon’s House
They tell Faith they have found the right balance, which is all tied to her and Noah. The trio share a hug. Faith claims to love them even more now.
The Newman Ranch
Nick goes to visit his parents, but they don’t answer his entrance. He stops at the photos and reminisces.
The Newman Ranch
Nikki and Victor enter the sitting room, and Nick explains how grateful he is to them. His mom wonders where this is coming from, and he explains the in-depth history dive he just went through with Sharon and the kids.
He knows he has hurt some people and hopes he’s done better since then. He thanks them for the lessons and for being the role models they are. They feel blessed to have him as their son.
Next Week on the Young and the Restless
Billy and Lilly offer their proposal to stop the infighting at Chancellor-Winters to Devon and Nate; Mamie can’t wait to hear this.
Kyle agrees with Victor that it may be time for him to make a career change.
