Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Daniel and Lily made peace, while Claire’s first meeting with her siblings leaves Katie feeling upset.
Crimson Lights
Kyle finds Claire alone and assumes there were problems with her meeting her new siblings. She informs him that Johnny was fine and even laughed at one of her jokes. Katie, on the other hand, was not impressed with her.
Newman Tack House
Victoria tries to comfort Katie and says she understands the difficulty of having a new sister. Katie tries to blame her mood on missing her old bedroom, which was destroyed in the house fire. Her mother suggests that is understandable but thinks she was mean to Claire.
Katie tells Victoria that the kids at school think Claire is mean and does crazy things. She then wants to know if it’s true and if Claire is dangerous.
Society
Billy meets Lily and assumes this is good news that she wants to meet. He wants to know if she has something good to tell him, and she says she does.
Park
Devon and Victor run into one another at the park and chit-chat. Devon goes to leave, but Victor suggests he sit down for a talk.
Genoa City Athletic Club Dining Room
Audra informs Nate all about Tucker and his fake heart attack stunt. She claims his attempts were pathetic, but she kept her eye on the prize and won. When he wonders what’s next, she informs him that her goal is to make Glissade a huge success!
Nate cautions her that Tucker knows the game of revenge very well.
Audra declares she is not scared of Tucker. Nate says Tucker isn’t the type to waller in self-pity for long after a defeat like this. She says she knows all his tricks too well and has seen them all first-hand.
In her opinion, Tucker should realize he is the one pushing everyone who loves him away. She refers to Ashley and Devon as primary examples before finally including herself.
Nate wonders what would happen if Tucker made the necessary changes in his life.
Audra declares he’d be making them for someone else besides her.
Chancellor Park
Victor asks Devon if he’s spoken to Tucker lately. When he answers no, Victor fills him in about his loss and that he will likely be avoiding Genoa City. Devon was clueless about this news.
Society
Before sharing the good news Billy wants, Lily informs him about the agreement she and Daniel came to that avoids arbitration. She admits she was reacting emotionally and out of anger.
Billy says Jill will never admit how hard this has all been on her and says she’s still tired and struggles with walking. Snapper insists that the treatments are working, though. She promises not to say anything about her knowledge of Jill’s condition.
He wants to know if she’s decided to head Chancellor-Winters with him.
Tack House
Victoria tries to explain to Katie the differences between Jordan and Claire. She claims Claire to be kind and generous, but Katie wonders if they’ll all be murdered in their sleep!
Victoria wonders where her daughter is getting all of this from!
Johnny steps in and says Claire seems to be okay.
Katie says Claire isn’t her family and advises them to stop pushing her about this.

Crimson Lights
Kyle suggests Claire give Katie some time. She says she isn’t giving up; she’s just giving Katie some room. Claire says she almost expected this to happen.
Kyle admires her for being optimistic yet living in the real world and says she’s likeable.
Society
Lily claims Billy’s drive for success is contagious!
Billy is thrilled to hear it but can’t believe they are doing this together. Before he can order the celebratory champagne, she informs him there is a catch.
GCAC Dining Room
Audra admits Tucker did a number on her, and she thought she could fall in love again. She says she learned the lesson of trusting no one with your heart.
Nate claims that allowing someone like Tucker to close that door is a waste. He proposes a toast to her changing her mind.
Audra raises her glass but suggests he shouldn’t count on that happening anytime soon.
Audra gets a text from Victor asking to meet her when she returns to town. Nate can see it must be important and wants to know if it was from the mystery investor she’s told him so little about.
Audra says she must go. He says she’s leaving out a big part of this takeover she pulled off. She claims it to be a secret alliance and can’t tell him more. She tries to console him, claiming that he has no reason to worry about Chancellor-Winters being involved. Nate sees red flags and thinks Tucker may not be the only person she has to watch out for!
Society
Lily tells Billy it isn’t a negotiation but rather a compromise. She doesn’t want Devon to be marginalized during this transition and wants her family to be first.
Billy reminds her that everyone can’t run the company. He also advises there are current conflicts at play.
She acknowledges his statements and makes her condition known, claiming it’s the only way she can do this. She suggests they undo the merger of Chancellor/Winters. Billy didn’t expect this from her even though it was his original suggestion.
Crimson Lights
Claire says Kyle should talk about himself more instead of her. He claims his life to be quiet and normal. He says there’s not much to talk about with his work. Claire mentions the tension she noticed between him and his mother. He doesn’t want to discuss it, but he agrees to give her the short version.
Kyle gives her the history of believing Diane dead and now she is alive and has his job at Jabot. He says it’s more than awkward; it’s brutal. He can’t understand why both his parents can’t see this is holding him back! Claire wonders if he’s thought of going somewhere else to work.
Newman Ranch
Victor informs a visiting Audra that as soon as the lawyers complete the paperwork Glissade will be hers to run. He wishes he could’ve seen the look on Tucker’s face and she offers to describe it to him.
Audra paints a picture of Tucker looking stunned, destroyed, and as if someone had drained his body of blood. She promises to do great things at Glissade and then tells Victor she does have one question. She wonders why he still wants to remain anonymous about being the investor and if there’s possibly something else he is after.
Victor informs her that his motivations should never be her concern and that she should only be concerned with turning Glissade into a powerhouse. He then tells her she is expected to add Kyle Abbot to her team as her co-CEO. Audra is speechless.
Tack House
Victoria calls Claire and apologizes for the tension with Katie earlier. She promises Claire it will get better and doesn’t want her to avoid being at the house because of this.
Claire says she will be home soon, and they exchange “I Love Yous.”
Coffee House
Claire leaves, and Kyle receives a text from Victor, wanting to meet with him.
Society
Billy orders the champagne to celebrate. He wants to know how Devon is going to react to their plan. She claims he will be okay and that her worry is about Jill. Billy says she gave him the power to make the decisions, and it’s his call.
They toast as Devon walks in and sees them.
Tack House
Johnny tells his mom that Katie’s actions may not be about Claire specifically. He says a date fell through with a boy she likes. Victoria wishes they would talk to her more about what’s going on. They laugh about how times have changed from when Victoria was younger.
Claire enters and Johnny tells her not to stress over Katie being a pain and that it usually doesn’t last for long.
CBS
Newman Ranch
Audra says she still thinks the original plan of her running Glissade as the sole CEO is the best one.
Victor informs her this is not a suggestion and her position depends on it.
Kyle enters and is puzzled as to what Victor wants with him. Victor says it’s good news, and Audra hesitantly nods in agreement.
CBS
Society
Billy facetimes with Jill. She says the treatment is working but wants to know the news he has to share with her.
Jill says “no” to his plan. Billy explains that Lily decided to work with him and that it was Jill’s idea originally… She wanted to secure her legacy.
Chancellor/Winters
Devon tells Nate about the cozy meeting he saw between Lily and Billy. They wonder what it could be, and Devon says it looks like Lily is moving forward with her plan.
Nate says Devon is being paranoid but Devon wants him to keep an eye on Billy while he’s on a trip to Paris.
Lily walks in and says there’s no need because she has Billy right where she wants him. She asks if Devon can delay his trip because everything is about to explode.
Newman Ranch
Kyle takes a seat, and Victor explains the job offer to him. Victor wants to know if he’s interested.
