PALLADIUM-ITEM, Sunday, Nov. 26, 1995 Obituaries Wayne W. Gurr MUNCIE Mary A. Clark, 79, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 1995, at Heritage Care Nursing Home after an extended illness.

She was born in Greenfield to John and Rose Bell Jones Melling and attended Centerville Elementary School and Fountain City High School. She worked at Ball Corp. for 15 years and Ciota Day Nursing for five years. She had lived in Farmland for 29 years. She was a member of Mississenewa Christian Church in Farmland and the Moose Lodge 33 Women's Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Willard Clark of Farmland; one daughter, Rita D. Campbell Cook of Cicero, one stepdaughter, Ginese Staggs of Muncie; four stepsons, Marvin Campbell and Herbert Campbell, both of Muncie, Randal S. Clark of Broomfield, and Jeffery R. Clark of Parker City; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Frances Mervin of Bushnell, Fla. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph "Pete" Campbell, four brothers, three sisters and a grandson.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 Indiana 3 North, Muncie. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Muncie. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 27, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Fund, Arthritis Foundation or the Heart Founda- John G. Pieper Jr. Mary A.

Clark died Thursday, Nov. 23, 1995, at Reid Hospital. He was born on Dec. 25, 1915, in Hamilton, Ohio, to John Sr. and Martha Schmitt Pieper.

Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Phillips of Eaton, Ohio; three sons, John G. Pieper and Robert Pieper, both of Eaton, and Roy D. Pieper of Richmond; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sister Ann DeSales of Oldenburg, Martha Hahn of Hamilton and Margie Schmidt of Fairfield, Ohio; and one brother, Mark Pieper of Evansville. He also leaves behind his caregiver, Doris Brown of New Paris. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella Kesling Pieper, a stepson and a brother.

Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, at Visitation Catholic Church, 407 E. Main Eaton, with Father Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in Somerville Cemetery, Somerville, Ohio.

Cherry Trenton Saunders CINCINNATI Trenton Scott Saunders, 20 months, died suddenly Thursday, Nov. 23, 1995, in Lancaster, Ohio. Survivors include his parents, William D. and Karen Sickmann Saunders, one sister, Alexandra J. Saunders; maternal grandparents Robert and Jean Sickmann of Richmond; paternal grandmother Rubie J.

She was born on June 6, 1905, in Nebo, to Hezekiah and Nancy Rigsby Hanshew and was a longtime Economy and Hagerstown resident before moving to Richmond years ago. She was a retired employee of the Dana Distribution Center in Hagerstown. Survivors include one daughter, Lavada Marie Duke of Richmond; two grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Kelley, who died in 1963; three brothers and four sisters.

Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, in Williamsburg Cemetery, with the Rev. Harry H. Harshberger officiating.

Heck LEWISBURG, Ohio John W. Heck, 51, of 120 E. Dayton died Friday, Nov. 24, 1995, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. He was born April 15, 1944, in Montgomery County, Ohio, to John M.

and Mary E. Smith Heck. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran and was a member of the V.F.W. post in Brookville, Ohio. He was employed at Skiles Body Shop in Lewisburg, was a 1980 graduate of the Ohio Law Enforcement Officers Training program and was a memper of Trailriders of Lewisburg.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Heck of Lewisburg; one son, Shane Heck of Eaton, Ohio; one daughter, Amber Heck of Lewisburg; three grandchildren; one brother, Phillip M. Heck Plant City, and two sisters, Phyllis Root and Susan Heck, both of Lewisburg. He was preceded in death by one son and one daughter. Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov.

24, 1995. He was born Feb. 15, 1933, to Sherman and Ninnie Owens. He retired from the Air Force in 1975 after serving 22 years. He worked at Tec Fab and was a former employee of Natco.

Except for his time in the Air Force, he had lived in Richmond all of his life. He was a member of the Eagles 666, Cambridge City American Legion and the Knights of St. John. He was a member Moose Lodge 1977 and American Legion Post 39 and was a former member of Phi Delta Kappa in Winchester and the Winchester Golf Club.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Jessie Overmyer Taylor; one son, Merrill Taylor of Elwood; one daughter, Sherry Richwine of Anderson; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one brother, James Taylor of El Paso, Texas. Mill died unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 24, 1995, at Fayette Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 8, 1931, in Connersville to James M. and Ada Trent and had lived in Connersville most of his life. He was a Navy veteran.

He retired in July from Belden in Richmond after 13 years, and he previously was employed at National Metal Products for 10 years.
