I am currently a Junior at McNeese and I honestly haven’t loved my experience so far. It’s definitely not completely the administration and Staffs fault. I started at McNeese in 2020 during Covid and hurricane Laura so I definitely missed out on the proper college experience the first two years, but they are finally starting to get things back to normal! I just wish it could have been in a more timely manner. Also I have definitely had more negative interactions with administrators and professors than positive. I have had to deal with lots of unorganized and unkind staff but there have been a few good ones.

McNeese State University is wonderful for students in the state of Louisiana who want to make the most of their money. I am a current Dual Enrollment student in McNeese and their online courses are fantastic! I also frequently visit McNeese for its available library, tutoring, and lively campus. It is much more affordable than other colleges and offers a wide variety of degrees. Furthermore, the nursing department of McNeese is one of the best in Southwest Louisiana. McNeese nursing students have a 98% passage rate for the National Council Licensure Examination. McNeese's college of business and education are the best departments in southwest Louisiana. I would like to see a change in the amount of extracurricular activities and more volunteer opportunities.

My experience at McNeese was great! The professors all cared about me and my wellbeing and I grew so much as a person through my attendance. Given the choice to go back in time, I would absolutely still pick McNeese!
